It’s Our Home: Made Better, Made to Save

Ninety percent of people want to live more sustainably, but only 11%1 consistently do. Why? Because they find it hard!

P&G conducted research in 2023 that taught us most Americans think sustainable habits at home are too difficult (82%), too expensive (89%) and sacrifice product performance (73%).

What if sustainable choices didn’t have to be hard? What if there were easy hacks to live a more sustainable lifestyle, get great results and — in some cases — even save money on household bills?

The best way to improve the environmental footprint of everyday products (like laundry detergents, dish detergents, shampoo, etc.) is by reducing the water and energy needed to do the job — when you wash your dishes in the sink, use your washing machine, or shower. If you didn’t know, you’re not alone — only 18% of Americans are aware of this fact! P&G scientists have been designing better products to help save energy, water and waste while delivering exceptional performance.

In our next chapter of the #ItsOurHome campaign — "Made Better, Made to Save" — P&G brands, such as Cascade, Tide, Gillette, Pantene, Dawn, Swiffer and Oral B, have partnered with digital creators to show just how easy it can be to save water, waste and energy, with products that are made better for you.

The creators experienced firsthand how sustainable living can be hard, and how it can be easier with P&G products that are made to save. They used their unique style and humor to engage, entertain and educate their community on how it can be easier with brands that are made to save.
