Helping P&G Parents Live Better Lives

P&G employees are dedicated to making life better for people all over the world, and we want to help them live better lives, too. That’s why we offer benefits that promote equality and give choice, flexibility and support at all stages of their lives and careers.

In honor of National Working Parent’s Day, we share a sampling of benefits* that support our working parents in the U.S. and are reflective of the competitive benefits we offer around the world.

Family Planning

The path to parenthood is different for every family, so we offer benefits that help employees welcome a new child, no matter what path they choose.

Adoption & Surrogacy Assistance
We reimburse full-time employees for expenses related to the adoption of an eligible child, embryo, a surrogate parenting arrangement, or the use of donor eggs and/or sperm.

Fertility Benefits
We provide healthcare plan coverage for fertility and infertility treatment.

Paid Parental, Birth & Recovery Leave
Employees responsible for a child’s upbringing (mothers, fathers, , domestic partners and legal guardians) are eligible for up to 8 weeks of paid leave to care for and bond with children new to the family. Adoptive parents receive up to 16 weeks paid leave, and foster parents up to 4 weeks paid leave per calendar year.

Birth mothers receive an additional 8 weeks paid leave for end-of-term pregnancy needs, delivery and recovery. Employees serving as surrogates or gestational carriers receive 8 weeks paid leave for birth and recovery.

Family Life

Managing family life can be challenging, so we offer benefits designed to help parents through especially demanding times.

Dependent Care – Business Needs
We reimburse dependent care expenses up to a limited amount when the business requires an employee to attend an event or travel outside of normal work and dependent care coverage hours.

Caregiver Support
P&G offers caregiver support to help employees care for a loved one, from pediatrics to elder care – by pairing them with a dedicated experienced Care Coach.

Virtual Camp Classes
Through an external partnership, we provide a generous number of subscriptions for employees to enroll children ages three through virtual classes that encourage STEM learning and creativity.

Employee Discount Program
Through a program that provides discounts to employees on external goods and services, parents have access to:

  • Free, weekly virtual sessions focused on learning, health, and wellness with a special track just for kids… such as hip-hop dance, basketball ball handling, becoming a YouTuber, and coding.
  • An after-school program that helps kids from ages 5 to 16 make connections with other children in a safe, virtual environment while engaging in activities they love.
  • 20% discount on membership designed to find, manage and pay for care for children, elderly family members or even pets.

Wellbeing

We empower P&G employees to bring their best selves to work every day by giving them tools to care for their wellbeing. These include COVID testing and medical virtual visits, as well as professional counseling resources, online tools for strengthening mental wellness and resilience and online fitness classes.

Support for Life Events

In addition to 11 corporate holidays annually and generous paid vacation based on tenure, U.S.-based employees experiencing significant life events can take advantage of family and medical, child care, emergency and personal leaves of absence as well as emergency loans.

P&G people are the foundation of our unique and positive culture – and our continued success. This sampling of benefits, plus the many others we provide, are just one way we show our employees how much they’re valued, appreciated and integral to the work we do.
