Supporting Communities Throughout Central America

P&G Central America

P&G Central America and the Dominican Republic together with our NGO partners in the region stepped up to be a force for good for the communities that need more support during this time.

Thanks to the enormous efforts of various organizations such as the Panamanian Red Cross, United Way Panama, United Way Guatemala, United Way Dominican Republic, Child Fund International in Honduras, Fundación Fabretto in Nicaragua, Food Bank and United Way Costa Rica as well as other governmental institutions, our brands are reaching out to more than 300,000 people in the region.

Ariel is providing more than 150,000 loads of laundry washing the clothes of patients and health care professionals in the hospitals. Pampers has focused its donations on babies under risk. Oral-B, Head & Shoulders, Always, Old Spice and Secret are donated to hospitals and shelters for the personal hygiene of COVID-19 patients. Gillette is committed to support 15,000 medical professionals with free razors as some institutions recommend shaving facial hair to ensure respirator masks fit tightly on their face.

Through the P&G Children’s Safe Drinking Water Program, running in the region for the last 5 years, we are donating more than 2 million liters of clean water to support vulnerable communities having limited access to clean water.
