Rakona Plant Steps Up For Health Care Workers and Students

Rakona

When the Czech Republic mandated use of face masks and frequent handwashing, the community of Rakovnik — including the local hospital — faced a shortage of masks and hand sanitizers.

In response, our P&G Rakona plant workers stepped up production of disinfectants. The Rakona plant donated 22,000 empty jar bottles to another company producing disinfectant; they also contributed Ariel and Fairy products to the local hospital. They even donated laptops to local middle school students enabling remote education during school closures.
