P&G Partners with Hello Sunshine and Together Live to Elevate Female Voices

At P&G, we aspire to build a better world for us all – a world free from gender bias, and a world with equal representation and an equal voice for all individuals.

That’s why P&G, along with our brands Olay, Always and Secret, were proud to sponsor last month’s Hello Sunshine x Together Live Tour – an all-female live storytelling experience featuring authentic stories and inspiring conversations for and by intersectional, intergenerational women.

Throughout November, the tour visited 10 cities across North America, including Boston, Toronto, Fayetteville and Cincinnati, home of P&G Headquarters.

Over 12,000 attendees heard from diverse, high-profile female speakers like Reese Witherspoon, Abby Wambach, Yara Shahidi, Maysoon Zayid, Ibtihaj Muhammad and Sophia Bush, shared and engaged in powerful and encouraging conversations.

“What gives me hope are the stories from every single person that I dare to ask,” said musical artist MILCK (Connie Lim) on tour. “If I have a rich story, that means everybody in the room has a rich story.”

Hello Sunshine, Together Live and the women on this tour are helping us achieve a better world by encouraging real and honest conversations and elevating female voices.

“When we do get together in real life and look at each other in the eye, we see how connected we all are,” said artist, poet and author Cleo Wade. “We see that another woman is not just another woman. She is our sister.”

In September, P&G celebrated its sponsorship of the Hello Sunshine x Together Live Tour with a kickoff brunch during Global Citizen Week. Marc Pritchard, P&G Chief Brand Officer, shared his praise of the tour.

“We’re committed to using our voice as the world’s largest advertiser to eliminate bias and create a more equal world,” says Pritchard. “One way we do this is by supporting content developed by and for women. The incredible women on this tour are sharing their stories and elevating their voices to help chart the path forward.”

Olay

At the tour stops, P&G brands set up interactive photo stations. Olay integrated their Face Anything campaign with three interactive photo activations that featured the prompts #TooStrong, #TooEmotional and a fill-in-the-blank, while Always integrated their #EndPeriodPoverty campaign with an interactive photo backdrop; each time an attendee posted a photo with the hashtag, a donation was made.

Always

Our intention is to keep these important conversations about gender equality ongoing, and to remain at the forefront of changing gender biases while striving for equal representation for all. By working together, we can continue to create a better world for everyone.
