P&G Receives Prestigious Catalyst Award

2015 Catalyst Award Winner

Yesterday evening, P&G received the 2015 Catalyst Award—a prestigious award that honors exceptional and innovative initiatives that expand opportunities for women and businesses globally.

Our CEO A.G. Lafley accepted the award on P&G's behalf at a black-tie event in New York City, where he underscored P&G's strong belief in the power of diversity:

The more diverse and inclusive we are, the more likely we are to understand consumers’ needs, and find ways to innovate to meet those needs.

P&G’s Diversity platform—Everyone Valued, Everyone Included, Everyone Performing at Their Peak™—was highlighted for supporting the development of diverse talent throughout P&G, including women at all levels across all regions through wide-ranging learning and career development programs.

With P&G’s sustained commitment to diversity, diverse women and men are represented broadly across the organization. Women from all backgrounds now occupy 44% of our management positions, and make up a higher percentage of the most senior levels than at any time in the company’s history.

The Catalyst Awards Conference, held earlier in the day, brought together experts from around the world to share knowledge and shape the dialogue about inclusive leadership and other critical factors related to women and workplaces around the world.

Chief Diversity Officer William Gipson (pictured below, second from left) was among several P&G executives participating in the day’s events.
