Today, we're announcing a renewed commitment to respect human rights and our policies related to corporate social responsibility. This unified human rights policy statement broadly defines our commitments to relevant legal, social, health & safety, environmental, and business practices.
The updated policy combines—and in some cases, expands—existing policies for clearer and easier communication of our commitments and expectations internally and with customers, business partners, and other external stakeholders. We used the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights in updating this Human Rights policy.
In addition to establishing this renewed policy to respect human rights, we're committing to:
- Improving our due diligence to identify, prevent, mitigate, and report infringements across our end-to-end supply chain, and
- Expanding processes to remediate any adverse impacts that we cause or contribute to.
This policy supports our long-standing legacy of doing the right thing in a way that supports winning with consumers and customers around the world.
